EXPERIENCE

Melissa Miller founded Indigo and Chalk in 2013, and since then has worked with a variety of brands to seamlessly integrate product, merchandising and marketing strategies in order to drive financial growth. She is passionate about guiding businesses in transition and bringing brands to life, including the Indigo and Chalk branded pop-up experience.

Specializing in both the home and apparel space, a rare combo for retail consultants, Melissa has contributed to a diverse group of global organizations, including start-ups, emerging brands and multi-billion dollar companies such as Parachute Home and Pendleton. She has worked with a diverse clientele ranging from India Hicks to Jungmaven. 

She brings a unique, omni-channel perspective—the retail trifecta of brick and mortar, ecommerce and catalog—from over 17 years in the retail industry, working with brands like West Elm and Banana Republic as well as luxury retailer, Maris Collective. Melissa’s comprehensive knowledge of the business comes from having worked extensively in various merchandising and buying roles, as well as leading cross-functional teams across planning, marketing and product development, throughout her career.
